This customizer gave the new 2026 Barbie Wonder Woman a stunning curvy body, thanks to a talented fan – and the result is absolutely amazing!!
Hey everyone! If you’re into curvy Barbie and love Wonder Woman, you’re going to love this!
Mattel recently released the Barbie Signature DC Wonder Woman 2026 — a beautiful collector edition celebrating the 85th anniversary of the iconic DC Comics heroine. She came with the classic look: red and blue outfit, tiara, bracelets, Lasso of Truth, and that signature long dark hair.
But one talented customizer (Candace from @barbieworld923 on Instagram) decided to take it to the next level. She carefully swapped the head onto a curvy body (likely Barbie Looks 24).
The result? A stronger, more confident, and curvier Wonder Woman — exactly how many fans imagine the Amazon warrior from Themyscira: powerful, feminine, and representing strength in every body type! In the original post, you can see her right after the rebody with the long hair still intact.
Later, Candace cut and styled the hair into a more modern look, added casual “Seattle-style” outfits, and even gave her a cute new vibe.
I absolutely love this custom because: It keeps the gorgeous factory face sculpt (those striking blue eyes look perfect with the dark hair)
It gives the doll more presence and attitude.
It shows how customization can make dolls more inclusive and personal.
Many collectors wish Mattel would release more curvy versions of popular characters. Seeing someone take a brand-new 2026 release like this Wonder Woman and give her a curvy body right away proves how creative and active the Barbie community still is. What do you think?
